This portable pocket digital television received the most stations in tests conducted by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute, earning The Best rating. In testing in urban and suburban locations, its built-in NTSC/ATSC tuner received an average of 34.25 channels, 47% more than the nearest tested model. Of all channels received, its 4 1/4″ screen displayed 57% more completely clear channels than the nearest tested model with no pixilation or sound disturbance. It provides 480 x 272 resolution for crisp images and sharp motion devoid of streaking or blurring with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a generous 60ú viewing angle, allowing adjacent viewers to watch programs easily. Its speaker delivers clear sound. It has a built-in collapsible antenna; an included external antenna with a magnetic base and 40″ cable allow for optimum reception. As with all digital TVs, a weak broadcast signal will result in no picture. Unlike older analog TVs that presented a poor picture, it must be used in a stationary location and cannot be used when mobile. The built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 1 1/2 hours of viewing from a 4 1/2-hour charge using the included AC adapter. Includes 1/8″ headphone jack. 3″ H x 4 3/4″ W x 3/4″ D. (6 3/4 oz.)
